Enrolling for an Employee Unique Identification Number (EUIN) is mandatory for any individual—including employees and relationship managers—who interacts with or advises investors on mutual fund products.
1. Who Needs to Apply?
- Corporate Employees: Employees of banks or corporate distributors must apply separately through the AMFI Online Portal.
- Individual Distributors: If you are an individual distributor (IFA), your EUIN is automatically allotted with your ARN at no additional charge.
2. Prerequisites for Employees
Before applying, ensure you have:
- NISM Certification: You must have already cleared the NISM Series V-A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification Exam.
- Documents: Scanned copies of your PAN Card, Aadhaar, a passport-size photo, and your copy of online signature.
- KYC: You must have completed your KYD (Know Your Distributor) or eKYC via Aadhaar.
3. Online Application Steps
- Visit the Portal: Go to the CAMS AMFI – https://amfi.camsonline.com/amfi-online/sessions/login
- Register/Login: Click on “Online Registration & Renewal of ARN & EUIN”. If you are a new applicant, create an account using your PAN and email.
- Fill Application: Choose “EUIN” as the application type. Enter your personal, contact, and NISM certificate details.
- Upload Documents: Upload the required soft copies (PAN, photo, signature).
- Payment: Pay the registration fee of ₹1,500 + GST online.
- Employer Mapping: After payment, your employer (the corporate distributor) must log in to the portal to authorize and map your EUIN to their ARN.
