She will get a statement which consists of the required details on the registered email ID of the unit holder.

How to find mutual fund investment details when the registered email ID of the unit holder cannot be accessed. There may be various situations like –

Situation1. A wife lost her husband; she is not a joint holder or nominee.

Situation2. A wife lost her husband; she is a joint holder.

Situation3. A wife lost her husband; she is a joint holder. There is also a nominee in the investment.

Situation4. A wife lost her husband; she is a nominee.

Solution

Since you are not aware of the concerned Mutual Fund schemes where the investments were made, you need to write a letter to all the Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTAs) of Mutual Funds which are CAMS, Kfintech, Franklin & Sundaram.

With this request letter, you need to send a copy of the PAN and Death Certificate of your deceased husband mentioning the fact that you are the wife of the investor. You must mention that you do not know the Password of email id registered by your husband with Mutual Funds while making the investment.

You should request RTA to send mutual fund statements at the address of the investor as per the records maintained at their end. RTA will then send the details of investments in Mutual Fund at the address of the investor maintained in the records.

If you are a nominee, you should send a copy of your Aadhar Card and Pan Card also with your request.

Since you are not aware of the concerned Mutual Fund schemes where the investments were made, you need to write a letter to all the Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTAs) of Mutual Funds which are CAMS, Kfintech, Franklin & Sundaram. With this request letter, you need to attach a copy of PAN and Death Certificate of your deceased husband, copy of your Aadhar and Pan card mentioning the fact that you are the wife of the investor. If you are joint holder or nominee of the investment, you should mention the same also.

You must mention that you do not know the Password of email id registered by your husband with Mutual Funds while making the investment. You should mention in your letter that you have shifted from the house you were living at the time when your husband made the investments. You should visit the office of RTA or Mutual Fund, submit your request with all the relevant papers and request them to give you a statement of the relevant existing investments.
